The purpose of this set of pages is to expose some musical gems from the free archive.org LIVE MUSIC ARCHIVE
So I had this new idea to maintain a blog called “Archive Drive By” where I preview a song available legally and free from the Live Music Archive. I will give a little background on the song and provide it’s appropraite link on the Archive. I hope this will be fun for all involved. There is so much high quality music legally available for free that it is daunting to even begin to try and wade through it. Expect songs by artists including Calexico, The Ditty Bops, Dave Alvin, Phil Lesh, Robyn Hitchcock, Warren Zevon and many more in the future.
Check it out and let me know what you think. You can download the song and transfer it to your portable musical device or burn it to a CD with no fear of lawsuit.
